Train Your Mind to Think Positive

The way we choose to think, positive or negative, has a great impact on the outcome and is mirrored in everything we do.

It is true that optimists, or positive thinkers, are at an advantage in life compared to pessimists. This is because of the effect our mindset and attitude we have on everything we come across.

You have the power to choose to think happy, positive thoughts, and raise your positive vibration. By raising our positive vibration, our circumstances will quickly begin changing for the better and our life will blossom.

What we don’t do, for the most part, is raise our vibration through positive thinking to the point where “Believing is Seeing”. This is the point where our thoughts override the negativity around us and begin influencing our circumstances.

“Seeing is Believing" is what we generally follow when we allow the “obvious” (the negativity) to dominate our thoughts and we start noticing that more.

We have to train our minds. Believe in the positivity and push ourselves to then see that positivity around us.

We have to become aware of our thoughts, then change them.

By changing our mind into a positive one, we can broaden our focus in life and that’s when we become better at work or better at listening to someone with a positive outlook.

One age-old method in Ayurveda to change your mind and become aware of your thoughts is - Meditation                             

The word meditation stems from meditatum, a Latin term that means ‘to ponder.’ Through the practice of meditation, we can seek to find a better connection with our body in the everyday moments that we often let pass us by, and create stronger awareness for how our emotions influence our behavior.

The purpose is to retrain your mind and create a state of hyper-awareness for everything that is happening within your immediate reality, exactly as it is happening and exactly how it happens.

So, train your mind now using meditation. But the goal is not to control your thoughts, it is to not let your thoughts control you.
